One of America's most famous patriots, Benjamin Franklin was more than just a founding father of the country. Just wish we had more politicians like him now, who put the country and people before his own bank account.     To the individual who wants to increase his knowledge of one of Americas most unique and important founding fathers: This book is well researched and maintains a detailed account of Franklin's life through his written correspondents. It will certainly garner a greater appreciation for the man and the values he kept loyal to.

    To the student: Unless you have a genuine interest/passion for history and an excellent memory of detail, I would recommend this book only to read it for a solid foundation. Afterward, something along the lines of "Spark Notes" would be EXTREMELY beneficial for a good grade.
