I became a millionaire at age 41.

I could have become a millionaire in my 30's if I had accepted these 7 fundamentals sooner:

- thread -
1. Stop trying to fit in

Our egos are strong forces.

We want to be liked.
We want to fit in.

Too many of us compensate for these emotions with unnecessary spending, even though spending more doesn't fix the real issue.
2. Be happy with who you are

Start talking to yourself differently.
You are the only YOU on this planet.

Love yourself
Know your value
Find your confidence from the inside
3. Align your daily actions to your goals

Just because you're busy doesn't mean you're making progress.

Look at your to-do list
Any items related to your goals
If not, start over and focus on your goals
4. Stop comparing yourself to others

Others might have:
- more money
- more friends
- bigger house
- better car

Who cares.

Your path is unique
Your timeline is unique
Love your path and be patient
5. Question your beliefs

Our beliefs trap us when they close off our mind.

Question every belief
Recall where you go it
Recall why you believe it
6. Pay attention

We've been conditioned to pay attention to the wrong things.

We research the best credit cards
We compare banks

But we don't take the time to budget or track our spending.
7. Don't give up when it gets hard

Everything you pursue is difficult at the beginning.

You're changing habits.
You're changing beliefs.

But, most importantly, you're changing your long-term results.
