This lecture discusses key ideas from the 20th Century American science-fiction short story writer and novelist, Philip K. Dick's speech "The Android and the Human", given at the Vancouver SF Convention at the University of British Columbia, in March 1972.

It focuses specifically on the ways in which he thinks genuinely human beings (those who have not been reduced to androids) can be distinguished from androids.
