"What about long-term safety?" I recommend this excellent article by @andrew_croxford. Essentially, between vaccines and drugs, the vaccine is almost always the choice with the much safer profile. Somehow, this gets lost because of ideological resistance.

I'm glad it was helpful! Indeed, it is a brilliant essay (not by me!) and explains so much of last year and what we are observing now.

With increasing evidence that vaccination helps protect kids from MIS-C and everyone from Long Covid, I’ll again recommend this article by @andrew_croxford (single most read article in Boston Review in 2021!) on why vaccine safety is different than drugs.
