Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy is a six-hour documentary that originally aired on PBS in 2002. It is based on the best selling book of the same name by Pulitzer-prize winning author Daniel Yergin.

The Commanding Heights attempts to trace the rise of free markets during the last century as well as the process of globalization.
