I rewatched Contact last night. It's an amazing movie and gave me goosebumps all over again like watching it for the first time.
this C-G-I space-fi trilogy still holds true to this day for me as the best (for movies not books)
Sorry man Arrival is midwit (short story good tho) The truth is there are basically no great sci fi movies. Maybe Contact or Interstellar fits both sides of the bell curve
