Just finished "Dumbing us down", a collection of John Taylor Gatto essays on what's wrong with the US education system - I liked it, but it was a bit heavy on libertarian "government should leave us alone" sentiment for my taste.

Just googled this author. His other books are called Weapons of Mass Instruction Dumbing Us Down This dude doesn’t mess around. Thank you for the rec 🙏
