It looks like we will exceed 2 million NFTs minted on the Tezos blockchain sometime this year. I thought it would be interesting to dig through the first 1,000 objkts and identify those which could be considered historically significant gems from the very early days. Early ETH
2/and BTC NFTs have reached some extremely high valuations. I have no idea if early Tez artifacts will see similar demand from collectors or if they will be considered no different than 2021 nfts from other chains. I'm guessing (nfa) that early pieces from well known artists
3/will be highly coveted someday. Here's my best guess at significant pieces from the first 1,000 Objkts. The very first NFTs on Tezos were effectively lost and have been recovered in a way through this piece by @mtyka It's a 1/75. objkt.com/asset/hicetnunc/24880
4/The oldest piece on Objkt.com is hDao, objkt #152, from an unnamed wallet. This 1/1 was minted Feb 28, 2021. I have no idea who the artist is but if you search by "oldest" on objkt this is the first NFT on the list. That gives it "grail" status imho. 
5/The next one I would select is Non Fungible Tac0 by @koshino, Objkt #159. This 1/100 editions is a 3D Mp4 which appears to be the first Tezos NFT to use the tezos taco meme.
6/ Next up is a 1/1 from @quasimondo. Objkt #163 titled "Ornamism 2021 | Sketch #001 "
7/Next on the list is this 1/1 titled Containment by generative artist @wblut. Objkt #341. Like many of the artists on this list, Frederik Vanhoutte, has multiple objkts in the first 1k but this one is his genesis drop. 
8/Continuing on with early significant pieces is V01i. This 1 of 1 is from generative artist @andreasgysin. Objkt #374. 
9/Objkt #466 is from another big name in the generative art space, @mattdesl (Meridians, Subscapes, etc). This piece is titled "spanning tree sketch 01" a 1/5. 
10/Objkt #508 is the untitled genesis piece from another generative art heavyweight @williamapan (creator of Dragons on FxHash and Anticyclone from Art Blocks Curated). A 1/10. 
11/ Objkt #536, Wave of Birbs, is a 1/6 by generative artist @sableRaph.
12/ Objkt #609, Solar 01, is from another generative artist @kellymilligannz. This piece is a 1/3. 
13/Objkt #716 is Genuary24 by generative artist Thomas Lin Pedersen, @thomasp85. It's a 1/5. 
14/ Next up we have objkt #809. Polycircle composition, unnumbered by @msoriaro (Contrapuntos, Entretiempos, etc). This is Marcelo's first piece on Tezos, a 1/3. 
15/Our next piece is Attract #1 by generative artist @MAKIO135. Objkt #835 a 1/5. The file is too large to post so here's a link. objkt.com/asset/hicetnunc/835
16/Moving on through the first 1,000 objkts we have objkt #882, "Stripes", by generative artist @greweb. This piece is a 1/1.

18/I'm sure i've missed some significant pieces. Several of these artists had multiple pieces in the first 1k and in these cases I just highlighted their genesis drop. Generative artists are over represented probably due to the fact that i tend to focus on gen art. I would love
19/see more suggestions of standout pieces from the very early drops on Tezos...Hopefully somebody out there is creating a catalogue representing the first year of art on Tezos.
