Vietnam War one blew my mind. War started by France who refused to give up a colony after signing/brokering deal for other countries to give up their colonies. USA cant keep nose out of it....

There’s a book called The Vietnam War that’s a visual guide to the docuseries by Ken Burns. Obviously the focus is Vietnam, but the series talks a lot about American politics of the time. (I also highly recommend the docuseries, not just the book)
