The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kinsolver, couldn't get into it at all, left it for 2 years then couldn't put it down. It is possibly my all time favorite novel.

Not quite at the 600-page mark, but recently enjoyed the Poisonwood Bible. A Little Life is a popular choice, but TBH, don’t know if I’d ever want to re-read it #trauma. The Warmth of Other Suns, however, is one I would!

they're both not-quite-600, but All the Light We Cannot See (Anthony Doerr) and The Poisonwood Bible (Barbara Kingsolver) are true to the hype

I re-read The Poisonwood Bible (almost 600-pages) at the start of the pandemic because I wanted to lose myself in another world, and it was just as engrossing as I remembered it.
