Art Gobblers are an NFT collection launched by @paradigm and @JustinRoiland.
Launching on Halloween, the collection has since surged from a free mint to a floor price of 15 ETH at its peak and raked in more than 6,800 ETH in volume.

2/ What's SPECIAL about Art Gobblers?
Described as an 'experimental decentralised art factory', Art Gobblers are able to consume art produced by artists on the Art Gobblers site.
In doing so, these pieces of art change the NFT, forever immortalising the art in its belly.

To create art to feed into these Art Gobblers, Blank Pages are required, and these pages are created using $GOO, a token produced by Art Gobblers.
However, as $GOO is perpetually emitted, a unique mechanism has been used to create long-term sustainability within this ecosystem.

Art Gabblers uses a Variable Rate Gradual Dutch Auction (VRGDA) to vary the price of Blank Pages in $GOO to regulate the number of Blank Pages being produced a day.
When too many Blank Pages are produced, price goes up and vice versa.

Beyond Blank Pages, $GOO can also be used to produce more Gobblers and Gobblers can also be used to produce Legendary Gobblers!

3/ Art Gobblers End Game
Art Gobblers was created as a completed project at launch. This means no roadmap and no future development from the team after the mint is complete. Quite a different approach from most NFT collections.

With artists creating cool art for Gobblers to gobble, demand for Gobblers and their art will rise which attracts more and better artists to enter the space to create better art for Gobblers to gobble, creating a flywheel effect!

By now, it should be clear that Art Gobblers is no ordinary project.
Launching a fully-built product is a unique approach on its own. The unique mechanics of the collection makes it even more interesting.

Owners of Art Gobblers are effectively museum owners with the Art Gobblers being their personal museum and the art in their belly being the exhibit.

Taking this a step further, these holders can commission artists to design pieces to be fed to their Art Gobblers.
Even at such an early stage, we already have such amazing pieces created within the Art Gobblers Draw app. One can only imagine the art that is yet to come!

Beyond this, the mechanisms used to create sustainability for the in-game tokenomics of the ecosystem are also unique although untested.

Since Blank Page production is regulated by the VRGDA mechanism, this restricts the number of art pieces that can be created in a fixed time frame.

All in all, Art Gobblers is a fascinating experiment into sustainable art creation in a decentralised manner and pushes the boundaries of what is possible in the NFT space.
