Everyone says to post valuable content to grow your brand.

No one shows you how.

Here are 5 different ways you can boost your content and raise your engagement to grow your brand.

(Complete with examples from masters at their craft)

🧵
1️⃣A Create Compelling Content

@thatroblennon does a masterful job of always sharing content that’s:

- relevant
- interesting
- unique

He leverages systems & templates without being constrained by them. His personality comes through, making it compelling.

I learned so much from just his tweets about genuine growth & content creation.

But I took his course this year and it helped me completely level everything up:

- Content
- Strategy
- Community
- Networking

If you want to check it out, let me know, & I’ll share the link.
1️⃣B Create Visual Compelling Content

Words and writing no doubt take priority on Twitter.

But @jackbutcher & his @visualizevalue does a minimalist thought-provoking design with few words.
Whatever content you create

- Words
- Visuals
- Videos
- Audios

Please make it interesting & worth our while.
2️⃣ Comment Meaningful Content

Jason Moore (@JimminyJilickrz) is a prolific replier. He always adds his perspective with something of value to the original & carries it further.
Fun story: I used to think he worked for the Motley Fool because of how much he engaged with their personalities on Twitter.

Turns out we shared a love for investing as “F”ools.

You can grow your brand on comments alone.

Commentating is an actual, legit job.
3️⃣ Curate Appealing Content

You don’t have to be the creator of good content. You can be the conduit of good content.

Look at museums.

Curating content is a great and often profitable strategy. @TanmayS_Chauhan does this well.

The art here is to find content that’s thought-provoking & narrowly helpful.

"Top 11 sites you can’t live without" or "57 extensions illegal to have" won’t cut it for long.

You’ll grow large & fast but ruin your brand long-term.

It’s juicing on steroids while playing JV.
4️⃣ Cultivate a Community

Some are experts at creating content. Some for connecting with others. Then there are the rare few who are excellent at both.

@thestephanielau does this as well as anybody I know.

She creates content and systems that connect a like-minded tribe.

She is laser focused on connecting in

- The feed
- The DMs
- The comments
- Offline

She even creates groups for people to deepen their connection & grow their network.

If Keith Ferrazzi were on Twitter, he’d learn some things from Stephanie.

5️⃣ Conquer a Category

The holy grail. Becoming a category of one all to yourself.

@thejustinwelsh is synonymous to most of us here with “systems for solopreneurs.”

Justin focuses on helping entrepreneurs grow & scale their businesses.

- From his weekly newsletter, “The Saturday Solopreneur,”
- To his DIY Courses: The Content + LinkedIn Operating Systems
- And every single tweet or LinkedIn Post

You know who he helps & how helps them.
He’s done this long enough that he could start talking about crypto and underwater basket weaving, and I’d take a look.

His Content Operating System is fantastic.

If you wanted a DIY option to level up your content game in 2023, this would be it.

Recap:
You don’t just have to create content consistently to grow your account, following, and business.

- commenting
- curating
- connecting a community
- conquering a category

All of these are equally valid and important to incorporate into your strategy.
