A sign of desperation. Increased numbers of missiles are necessary, because smaller numbers can no longer saturate Ukraine's air defences, which are only getting better.

The culmination of these strikes -- in terms of destructiveness -- is already most likely behind us.

Ukraine's current challenge is to make its counter-strikes against Russian strategic airfields frequent and effective enough to make the waves of missile attacks stop altogether.

This far, it looks like they're moving in the right direction and doing a good job at it. 🇺🇦
