1️⃣ Select data

You need to have a table with the attributes and targets

In our example we use

- 'Number of rooms' as attributes - this is our X in the equation

- 'Price' as the target value - this is Y in the equation

2️⃣ Add a scatterplot to visualize the connection between our variables

1. Go to insert menu

2. From the available charts select scatter

3️⃣ Add the linear trend line

1. Click the + symbol next to the chart to add element

2. Select Trendline, which will automatically add the linear trend to the chart

4️⃣ Add the line equation

1. In Trendline go to 'More options'

2. Here you can modify several things, but after scrolling down you can find the 'Display equation on chart' option
