Has there ever been another instance of such immediate+sustained excellence?
Pixar's first 10 films (excl. sequels) were: Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, and Brave. All absolute bangers/classics, no misses. Has there ever been another instance of such immediate+sustained excellence?

“The Pixar Touch” is another good read, it goes deep into the making of most of these films. It’s also wild / impressive to read about how long the Pixar team worked on 3D animation when most others in the industry thought it was stupid + would never be profitable.
