This lecture picks up directly where the previous lecture left off. Building on our understanding of the main elements of the Golden Age of Growth, it provides an account on its demise and thus also crises and of paradigm change. By analysing how policy-making, institutions and ideas have changed in response to the systemic crisis of the 1970s, it also builds a bridge to contemporary debates on crisis-management of the Eurozone and beyond.
