Fabulous last episode @LostWomenofSci Season 5, the inspiring story of Marie Nyswander, who introduced idea of methadone Rx for patients addicted to opiates. As always, it's part-biography, part-social history, and always compelling listening.@katiehafner

Thanks @SmithDanaG for terrific piece @nytimes on what Covid experts are doing now. Quotes: me (BTW, I got my new bivalent; still wearing mask in crowded indoor spots; OK eating indoors & OK with small maskless meetings), @TaisonBell, @cmyeaton, others.

Yes! A beautifully told story of a larger-than-life life, and a window into how the technology revolution happened & the central but under-appreciated role of women in it. And, as a bonus, a subtle homage to an epic line on the classic “Pony Remark” episode of @SeinfeldTV.

… indoor dining & removing mask in low-risk settings. I’ll still keep a mask with me & will don it when I perceive the risk to be higher. Today’s @nytimes has a nice piece on how to identify these higher risk settings (I’m quoted): [link] (13/25)
