Fady Yanni is an Egyptian-American immigrant, a 3x Founder, and a graduate from the University of Maryland where he studied Information Systems and Technology Entrepreneurship!
He is a life-long entrepreneur and founded his first business reselling sneakers at the age of 15. Later on at 19, he founded his 2nd business selling dorm-decor, which he grew to become one of the largest dorm décor brands in just 6 months.
Previously, he served as the Director of Partnerships of Startup Shell, a student-run startup incubator at the University of Maryland that's supported over 200 ventures valued at over $1B+ where he raised the incubator's first-ever fund.
Currently, he is the Director of Fundraising at the Farama Foundation, a ML research lab and non-profit that maintains nearly all of the largest open-source Reinforcement Learning libraries, including OpenAI's flagship project, Gym, with over 50M collective installations.
He is passionate about project management, strategy & operations, sales, venture capital, and entrepreneurship.
