Frankie Miren

I’m Frankie Miren, a writer, sex worker activist and journalist. I’ve been writing about sex work (and other topics!) for years and am part of sex worker collectives SWARM and ECP.

In 2021, my first novel was published. The Service is fictional but is based on the many years I’ve spent in the sex industry. The Service tells the story of three women – two sex workers and a journalist – whose lives intersect in an increasingly dangerous environment.

At the moment, I’m working on my second novel, doing the occasional piece of journalism and generally trying to keep my head above water.
