Biochemist with expertise in theoretical chemistry and chemistry. Holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Chicago, an M.Phil. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of David Baltimore. Currently a professor at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
