Journalist and academic. Started his journalism career as editor of The Daily Cardinal and campus correspondent for the Milwaukee Journal. Also edited The Athenaean literary magazine. Holds an MPA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a Ph.D. in politics from Princeton University.
