Interesting story. Seems like there is uncertainty about who posted the first version of the virus genome in a public database. Just as there is uncertainty about how the pandemic began a few months earlier.

A good thread that chimes with my experience. Ignoring the trolls who look to insult you and pick fights on Twitter is the best approach I find. But confronting them sometimes necessary. And disappointingly the worst trolls are often professional academics.
