I'll just add this: China's ever-accelerating demographic decay now makes long-term consumption-led growth impossible. The data is literally looking worse by the month.

Tnx to @piegunn for putting this on my radar. Great article on a critical topic. The only thing i'll add is that the bulge in the 5-15 year olds is likely fabricated. The Russians just expanded that age group a few years back with no explanation.
