The answer is ~3 years. I was surprised, but it makes sense given that ~70% of cancer deaths occur in 65+. W/o cancer, that population is still at risk of many other diseases. Learned this on this excellent pod by @vijaypande @kpfortney @OliviaWebbC ⬇️
