Coincidentally, I’m currently reading this one… Quite illuminating. It reveals some things about how the nobles tried to regain some of their confiscated property from the state. Rule of law completely broke down.

The story is shocking and mind blowing. One of the largest scale and longest sieges in world history. I hope one day it's turned into a movie or mini series.

Her book, "In order to live", is exceptional. By learning what North Korean life really is like, it gave me a renewed appreciation for the liberties I enjoy every day. Also Yeonmi's inner strength is mighty inspirational.
