I go back & rewatch the 1st Jurassic Park often. every shot is strategically designed to play to the strengths/limits of the tech. CG wasnt 100% convincing, so they set the 1st TRex scene at night. Hand interaction was tough so they built animatronic Dino’s for CU interaction.
