Eve L. Ewing

Sociologist, author, poet, and visual artist. Tenured professor at the University of Chicago. Known for her research on the sociology of education, including her book "Ghosts in the Schoolyard: Racism and School Closings on Chicago's South Side." Author of poetry collections "Electric Arches" and "1919." Writer of the Ironheart comic book series for Marvel.
