“How am I not your brother? How are you not like me?”
find me on blewski.
A David Byrne appreciation account, apparently.
This. Hey you wanna read a great book about non-human cognition, check out Children of Time by @aptshadow.
Thank you, you're right. And that Blake quote, wow. I have an illuminated Blake book I should perhaps reacquaint myself with. His tale of Urizen the Demiurge and the war in heaven was one of the most astonishing things I've ever read.
I *really* loved that movie the first time I saw it. Just blown away. Loved that nobody understood it. Loved that it was about the way truth often subverts rather than outright rejects expectation. It is not a “good” movie. But wow did it work for me.
Anyway. Robin Williams #wasNotNeurotypical and he showed us what’s possible when you just own it. (Not an accident that he was cast in Good Will Hunting, maybe the best movie Hollywood ever made about autism.)
I am watching Miss Marvel after missing it the first time around and it’s the best marvel show I’ve seen.
