I found this little demo which was made with with SimTunes on a CD image of SimCopter (the one i own didn't contains the demos).

But also the rest is very psychedelic stuff to watch and if there wouldn 't be stated "Toshio Iwai" is the creator of this piece of software i would have assumed it must be one of the former developers from Intellivision. It has this charming childish appearance and i really like that.
If one haven't noticed it yet, the Bugz actually read the samples
and thats cool^2. this means you paint a composition which gets readed by the Bugz, sorta educating fun game and even this reminds me strongly of Intellivision.
It has been made before and it has been made after this, but this is the coolest, funkiest and most psychedelic release of this idea.
Music, colors and geometry, they are linked to each other in my mind and music heavy influences my imagination. Means i'm one of the "fur soled forest inhabitants" who halluzinates colors and geometry already only by the sound of music.
Further this is a good demonstration what DXWnd can get ou of a old game with a original reslution of 640x480,
the window to which the gamescreen is streched was 1400x1050 (i forgot to add 30 pixels of a black border though it would be displayed here even in this resolution) in fact the resolution is still only 640x480.
But DXWnd didn't streches "ugly" like a image processing software, it streches the games screen and optionally you can use a bilinear filtering which let's it appear like it would be a higher resolution as it is for real.
